Bobeches, domes and dishes come in many forms and materials. Some common forms are in our store. The word bobeche is used for any candle drip tray. Below are some parts which have been standardized for our on-line store sales. They are made from 18ga cold roll steel and 11ga hot roll steel. The 11ga bobeches are made from plasma cut blanks and will have the flame cut finish on the edges for a hand made look.

We can custom make bobeches from 2″ through 12″, with or without center hole from other thicknesses and most any metal you would like. Also we may have tooling or can make tooling for almost any shape you would like. We can put holes in as you need in any pattern. Finished edges can be beaded and folded on 18ga or less. We have even made bobeches with a hammered effect, wrinkled and perforated.

In our store we are offering 22 gauge (.028″) cold roll steel (crs) check plates as stocked items in the sizes shown below with a 13/32″ (.406″,1/8 IPS) hole. Our tools are made to provide 20 to 25 thousandths extra clearance. Typically these check plates are used for capping off objects or closing rough edges and providing a center location.

We will gladly do a different thickness, height, center hole size or other materials (brass, copper aluminum) in any of the item diameters shown below by quotation. If you don’t see the size you want we can easily make tooling in-house to the size you need in our machine shop very quickly. We have an extensive collection of other flat can tooling ½″ up to 18″ which could possibly work for you, please contact us on these also.

Our store check plates are made 3/16″ high and the diameter/name shown is the inside diameter plus .020″ to .025″ oversize to accommodate finishes. An example part called a 4 1/2″ check plate would be made 3/16″ high with an inside dimension of 4.520″ to 4.525″ on the ID (note 4 1/2″ in decimal form is 4.500″).

We have full machining capabilities and can make complete products including powder coating at our facility. We manufacture or stock blanks from Aluminum (1100, 6061), Brass (260), Copper (110) Cold Roll Steel, Hot Roll Steel, Galvanized Steel and Stainless Steel (304-2b) in almost any size and thicknesses to 1/8″. We typically stock from .025″ to .063″ for stamped round blanks and/or fabricated squares. We go up to ¼″ using other methods such as circle shear, square shear or plasma cutting along with the ability to machine thicker rounds. We can put almost any size round hole in the blanks centered, indexed pattern or random as needed. We can also make special holes by a variety of methods. Our on-line store will carry a minimum amount of items we are capable to manufacture. Below you will find some 18 gauge (approx. .047″) cold roll steel round blanks with 13/32″ center holes for prompt shipping; these are blanked from a punch press and will have a minor burr. Also you will see 11 gauge (approx. 0.119″) hot roll steel disks with no holes for immediate shipping; these are made by CNC Plasma cutting method. Any of the shown parts can be ordered special with any size holes or without holes.

Our CNC Plasma cutting method can provide you with round or any other shapes from ¼″ thick hot roll steel down to 22 gauge (approx. .027″) cold roll. Limitations are mostly for consideration of pierce points and kerf width. This method will also cut copper, brass, aluminum and stainless steel. The finish on the edges of plasma cut parts generally are not smooth and will have some bevel to the edge. This method is excellent for the rustic hand made look, where edge appearance does not matter or the edges will be finished later. These are by RFQ.

Punch pressed blanks are typically made from .020″ thick to .063″ and some thicker materials from aluminum, brass, copper, steel, stainless steel. Some thicker materials can be handled with some die modification, our presses go to 75 ton. Center holes can be stamped from an extensive set of small die sets or drilled. We have a complete list of standard dies for the outside dimensions from 2″ to 6″ by 1/8″ increments listed on our capabilities page.

Circle sheared blanks can be made up to 47″ diameter 3/16″ thick from soft steel or equivalent material. Any other requirements, please inquire by RFQ.

Our store provides some basic spun base sizes. We want them to be durable and offer them in 18 gauge steel (crs) with felting lips for 6″ to 8″ sizes and 7/16″ cord holes available on all to accommodate SPT2 electrical cord wire. The felting lip is usually ¼″ to 5/16″ wide as a bottom inside flange.

We can provide these and many other sizes listed below in different heights, materials, thicknesses, with or without a felting lip. Some of our custom bases for example are 6″ by 1½″ height with felting lip and various top holes along with a socket (convenience) side hole. Custom bases, canopies or cans are by RFQ only.

Welcome to our online store of finials. Here you will find some designs of unfinished finials from 11 gauge (approx .119″) hot roll steel with ¼-27 tapped holes fitting many harps for lighting. We have selected some designs to offer stocked and provide you with ideas to personalize your own designs.

We have the capability to make some very interesting OEM and custom finials for lighting, bed frames, furniture and curtain rods as can be seen through the designs below or with our machining or metal spinning capabilities. Submit your design by an RFQ, however our minimum is 25 on custom designs.

Our Store provides a selection of neck caps and blocks to meet some of your needs. These items are not finished and do require painting or plating. They are made in 3 to 4 top sizes and bottom sizes to accommodate some of the more common size holes used.

We can make any of these to fit your sizes needed from the existing styles or make you a custom design. Can/block style can be made almost any size by 1/8″ increments from 2″ to 8″ as well as dome sizes. We have the ability to combine welding, machining, cnc plasma cutting and brushed finishing with powder coating to meet your custom requirements. Plating can be accomplished through our outside suppliers on a quote basis only on volume orders over 25 pieces, we do not plate in house. Please submit an RFQ for volume orders custom or standard over 25 pieces.

Designs and fonts are endless for plasma cutting. Here in our store we are selling a very small portion of things we do. We are offering 2 different fonts of numbers in 6″ height with two holes @ 3/16″ for mounting from 11 gauge HRS (approx .119″ thick). Also included are a few basic artistic designs you may be able to use or get ideas for other designs.

We have tremendous capability with our CNC Plasma Cutting System. Between your imagination and ours may be the only limitation to what we can provide for you. Custom pick your font style, height, material type and thickness and we can make it. We can tie numbers and letters together by a bar, circle or cut them into a plate for a reverse silhouette. Custom order by RFQ for your special requirements.

The shapes we show here are only a small portion of designs available, we have hundreds and possibly thousands to pick from. Check with us on a design you would like and we will check our drawing inventory or can most likely make it up for you. Custom is our specialty.

Here in our store we are offering a selection of designs which will mount with iron railing and other ornamental projects. Most items shown are made from 3/16″ thick hot roll steel (HRS) and are provided with 5/16″ clearance holes, some are made from 11gauge (approx. .119″) HRS. The items with holes can be made with no holes when ordered but you must state this by using the correct part number.

The plates here in our store can be modified with other materials raw such as copper, brass or stainless steel, other thickness, holes and scaled up or down according to your needs. New designs whether artistic or geometric are welcome, we can make most of them from a sketch, dxf file or silhouette submitted. We can also work from pictures if the design or shape is clear.
